Red brick building, college campus

TASB HR Services is excited to offer a new training, Wage and Hour Law for Community Colleges, to all Texas community colleges.

This comprehensive training session provides an in-depth overview of wage and hour laws as they pertain to community colleges. This workshop is designed to equip community college HR and payroll staff members with the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure compliance with The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of:

  • Federal and state regulations
  • Determining exemptions
  • Overtime rules
  • Minimum wage requirements
  • Recordkeeping obligations

The session will also cover specific issues relevant to community colleges and provide compliance strategies.

This virtual event is scheduled for December 11–12, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. each day. For more information and to register, visit the Wage and Hour Law for Community Colleges TASB event page
